That’s right! Our team of authors have been hard at it, creating the first novelized content in the Starflight universe for you, the fans. From everything to science standards, starport details, and more. Questions are being asked by our team of authors and thoroughly discussed with our universe experts from the Starflight community.
Three stories have already been submitted to the team for review with many more in work by our awesome team of authors, to include:

Community Call To Action!
To flesh out a tiny section of Starflight that was never mentioned in the original game series, we started a discussion thread in the author working group on Interstel uniforms.
With the exception of the group photo of Greg, Rod and the rest of the original Starflight game design team, (seen below) uniforms were never mentioned anywhere.
The majority consensus from the author team was that for the Interstel working uniform, described in the Starflight RPG as:
Military Working Uniform
A military uniform designed to be worn in the field as well as industrial environments ashore. Typically consists of a plain color undershirt and underwear (the color of which may serve to denote a service member’s specialty), a one-piece coverall (to which is affixed service insignia), boots, and a utility duty holster (holds one single-appendaged weapon). Often worn with an informal hat (such as a ballcap).
would be something similar to what the crew of the Nostromo from Aliens or the crews from the Original Battle Star Galactica wore.
This is where you, the Starflight community, have the opportunity to help us flesh out the universe.
We’re looking for input for the Interstel dress uniforms. General description per the RPG as follows.
Military Dress Uniform
A military uniform designed to be worn for ceremonies such as change of command, retirement, commissioning, and decommissioning, or when otherwise appropriate. Consists of a dress shirt, dress pants or skirt, dress socks and shoes, belt, hat with service insignia, and dress jacket (to which is affixed all service insignia and adornments). Usually comes with a sword belt (included in the cost).
Military Service Uniform
A military uniform designed to be worn in office environments, in positions that interact with the public, and in watch situations. typically consists of a duty dress shirt (to which is affixed service insignia and ribbons), dress pants or skirt, dress shoes and socks, and duty holster belt.
And while we are on the subject of uniforms, there will be the equivalent of the Merchant Marines running cargo and such beyond what Interstel is doing.
So, community. What do you suppose the Dress and Service uniforms look like? Color, style, devices, patches, rank insignia?
Thoughts on Interstel or Arth insignia, flags, etc?
We can’t wait to hear your thoughts…
