The Writers of the Future fantasy and sci-fi short story contest runs every quarter, and this quarter’s deadline is September 30th! If you’re working on a story or have one just sitting around, give it a polish and fire it off by the end of Friday!
While we’re on the subject, we’ve had a couple of Three Ravens authors earn Honorable Mentions for the previous quarter! First up is J.F. Posthumus for her short story “A Test of Trust.” She’s also a talented cover artist, so she whipped up something very nice looking for it!
We’re going to have to pester her for when and where and how this short story is going to get published!
Next up is my sci-fi short story “Heavy Air” about a group of astronauts in a sinking airship over the skies of Venus. I’m nowhere near as talented in the graphical arts, so you’ll have to be content with the title and the blurb! Look for it to be published in our upcoming Tomorrow’s Hope anthology. Deadline for that is December 31st for those looking to enter!
