Who’s looking for something new to read over the holidays?

We have a new JTF-13, two scifi collections, and much more on their way.

And because I totally brain farted, I didn’t put the word out on these upcoming releases on Sunday. See, when you get use to not doing something, you completely forget when you are suppose to do it. And because Ben has been in the middle of a move over the weekend, the site post fell to me, and I totally FUBAR’d it.

But that’s good. I can just give y’all a midweek update with lots going on.

To start things off, at the beginning of the month, I flew up to Chicago land and attended the Evanston Writers workshop as a guest.

Great little conference to learn more about the business and craft for those up in that area. This was their first year back after a ten-year hiatus, and Debbie, the organizer did a wonderful job. There were many others from the industry, including editors, agents, narrators, and a few other publishers from across the spectrum of genres.

I even had the opportunity to sit and chat with D.J. Butler and Jody Lynn Nye, which really doesn’t happen often at most conferences because I’m running from one panel to the next. The big bonus for me was that R.J. Ladon, the elusive third Raven was able to attend and add her knowledge to the mix. We got the chance to catch up on things and just hang out for a bit.

And while I was hanging out in Chicago land, the Word Witch and the kiddos got to hang out with Steve Jackson for a train ride in his refurbished bubble dome car that will be running the rails with the Tennesee Valley Railroad Museum here in the Chattanooga area.

And during that same weekend, Author Casey Moores happened across a few copies of his novel Witch Hunt in his local Barns & Noble bookstore. That’s pretty damn cool to see the Three Ravens logo on the shelf next to TOR and Del Rey books.

Copies of Trailer Park volumes 1, 2, & 3 have made their way to both of the Buck Bald Brewing locations and are now available along with the Vesper Wren’s Trailer Park Pixie Punch.

For every copy they sell, they are donating $2 to the Shepards Men

That being said, moving forward, we are pairing up with the Shepard’s Men for all upcoming releases and will donate $1 per book sold during the first week after the release of ALL titles, and will include all pre-release sales.

Who are the Shepard’s Men?

Comprised of active or retired servicemen and civilian volunteers, Shepherd’s Men enthusiastically raises awareness and funds for the SHARE Military Initiative (SHARE) at Shepherd Center in Atlanta, GA.

This nationally renowned program focuses on assessment and treatment for American military veterans who have sustained mild to moderate Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) during post-9/11 service.

More Robert Silverberg is on the way.

We have three more titles that Bob has passed off to us to republish and as he puts it, put into “real book” format. We’re finalizing the formatting and getting it all prepped for release, but here’s a sneak peek at the cover art.

The audiobook is already in work for Robert Silverberg’s Hawksbill Times Two release, and if you’d like to see what to expect from the narrator, check out these links to other works narrated by Philip Pollite
