Crawlspace Gremlins Broke My Toilet…

…And it sounds like they regret that decision, based on how much they’re scratching at the access panel outside my bathroom window!

My family and I are just beginning to settle into our new house, with Sunday marking a full week since we moved in. We’ve owned the place since the summer, but a combination of repair work and out-of-state family tragedy pushed back our move-in date further and further. Leaking/broken water lines, broken garage doors, bugs and lizards in harmony together. But, hey, it’ll only take about…

All that said, we’re glad to be here. Our oldest child loves her new home, and our youngest at six months doesn’t seem to mind being uprooted from my brother’s house, where we’ve been since the initial move. If anything, it’s taking my wife and me more time to adjust. We’ve still got a bunch of things left to do on the project list, including trying to identify the aforementioned crawlspace gremlin(s). I don’t think it (or they) actually broke the toilet, but it didn’t start leaking until I started hearing the noises, so who knows?

Anyway, on to the state of some things!

All Tom wanted was to do his job and go home, not get involved in a feud between two sweet old ladies—especially when one of the ladies turns out to be not so sweet. This action horror tale is sure to become a fast favorite for fans of dark fantasy.

For those of you looking forward to the next in the It Came From the Trailer Park series, here’s a teaser of the cover art, courtesy of Melissa Gay!
