The clock is winding down to Christmas Day and the gatherings, gift giving, and worship services that come with it. What does this time of year mean to you and yours? Are you done with your shopping? I’m about finished with mine. Got a few more gifts today to put under our non-existent tree (Cats keep climbing it and knocking it over!) for our three-year-old to satisfy her Thomas the Train Engine obsession, and the niece and nephew are taken care of. I’ve got one or two more things to get my brother, but other than that, we are ready!
Well, minus the cooking. We’re hosting this year for the first time ever, and I’ve got the smoker ready for a feast! Looking forward to it. Been a long time since I’ve smoked any kind of food.
