2024 is gone, and 2025 is roaring its way in! Remember not to antagonize it. The last few years have been… interesting, to say the least.
How did you ring in the New Year? Do you and your friends and family have any kind of traditions? My wife and I used to have a few friends over for New Year’s Eve, nice and low key. Those same friends eventually wanted to do their own thing and make it as big as possible, which we had fun with until our kids came along. Now we just keep to ourselves, putting the kids to bed early and then ringing in the New Year in the geekiest way possible:
We play Animal Crossing. We each have our own Switch and game copy, so we celebrate on our own islands, and then visit each other’s after midnight.
We used to then jump into a game of Diablo 2 to battle the Hordes of Hell, but those days are on pause for the moment. Too dang tired most nights, including New Year’s Eve!
