Next up is the latest in the Lady of Death novel series, the Staff of Chaos! Urban fantasy mystery doesn’t get any better than this!

When Raziel, the Angel of Mysteries, shows up at Catherine’s door, she knows nothing good will come from letting him in. She’s proven correct when she’s tricked into summoning the spirit of a deceased demon to help clear an innocent’s name.

Not only was Kevin Daniels a demon, but he was a keeper of the Staff of Chaos. A powerful artifact capable of destroying anything and anyone. Including the ever-thinning Veils. And it’s been stolen.

With only a few suspects, all demons, and little time, Catherine must locate the Staff before it’s used. To make matters worse, all sorts of chaos is occurring: from fights with her friends, to a furious purple-headed Minotaur bent on destruction. No one is safe from the influence of the Staff.

Can she locate the Staff of Chaos before it’s used? And even if she gets the Staff back, how will she repair the damage done to the Veils without sacrificing her life to do so?

Coming Soon!

The audio version of The Raven and the Crow: the Gray Throne is on its way, and damn is it good. Joshua Saxon’s narration in Dark Storm Rising was top-notch, but he’s going above and beyond for this sequel! If you’re a fan of sword and sorcery fantasy and audio books, you don’t want to miss this series!

Two brothers struggling to find their place in the world.

For the elder sibling Kildare, every morning begins with the memory of betrayal. Once governed by the principles of morality, Kildare has become an instrument of blood and steel – where the speed of his sword arm metes out his own brand of justice. Only the strength and resolve of his brother Zedaine keeps him from succumbing to the ever-present rage that burns behind his dark eyes. While employed by the mysterious sage Blade, the pair stumble upon Chameleon, a runaway tribeswoman displaying extraordinary psychic powers. Their meeting, however, is no chance encounter. A riddle Chameleon carries will change not only the future of the three, but the fate of the entire world.

Hundreds of miles away, Macklore, a powerful wizard of Brisbane, has been dispatched to the volatile city of Gallanse. Smitten at the sight of princess Lydia, Macklore defies his orders and finds himself thrust into the middle of a bloody succession. When he openly supports Lydia’s family, he is marked for death by a cult of magi working to raise the psychotic prince Dragomir to the throne. With few allies, Macklore must use his wits and innate magical powers to keep Dragomir from the crown and himself alive.

Racing towards Gallanse, Kildare and Zedaine are torn between saving Macklore’s life, extracting terrible vengeance upon the man responsible for their betrayal.

Last But Not Least, a Book Worthy of a Shout-Out!

We don’t just cover books that we’re publishing here. If we find something we like, we’ll plug it, too! Not to mention, help to lift up a fellow author and creative.

This week it’s Megan Mackie’s The Prisoner of the Dead. If you’re a fan of YA, zombie fiction, or both, you will want to get your hands on this. It is an excellent start to an amazing series in one very dark world.

Trapped in an endless cycle of life and death…

The zombie apocalypse ended civilization generations ago, and then for some mysterious reason the zombies… just got better and came back to life… only for the outbreak to happen again. Again and again, the plague rose, the zombies thrived and were then reborn.

Into this horrific cycle of apocalypse came Baron, a wild man from nowhere, onto the remaining vestiges of the human world. After his keen survival instincts lead him to kill a strange man, Baron finds himself imprisoned by an even stranger woman, the child of immortals who might hold the key to ending the vicious cycle once and for all.

But only if this unlikely pair can survive the next outbreak…
