A New Year, a New Chance to Get B.E.N.T.
I hope everyone’s Christmas was well-spent, whatever it was you were up to! For me, it was more time in bed during the daytime than I’ve gone through in a couple years. Got sick with something that didn’t spread to the rest of the house, but it knocked me on my bottom for a bit.…

This Magick is Wyld!
Now that we’re deep into October and everyone is awash in pumpkin spiced everything (whether we want to or not), the weather is finally starting to cool down here. At least in the early mornings and late evenings. Daytime is still good pool weather, and we’re blessed to have a set of neighbors with kids…

The portal opens in two days!
Just around the corner at an unassuming video store is the door to adventure! It’s 1990, and Leo Sanford has just been expelled from Central Baptist University for creating an explicit topiary of the female figure using a push mower on the front lawn of the quad. After a humiliating ride home, Leo opts for…

Of Fiction and Fender Benders
(I wish this was a Car Wars related post, but alas!) My oldest child experienced her first fender bender today, as we stopped at a gas station near her school to pick her up a lollipop since that’s her thing now. Right after we pulled in, a vehicle in the space next to us decided…

Freedom, Fireworks, and fiery new releases
Good morning Raven Readers! We hope everyone survived the 4th of July weekend unscathed. We took it pretty easy this weekend, taking our time working on the garden beds and I did some tweaking to Josie while I wait for my new clutch cable to come in. And, now that it’s Monday, time to get…

Are you ready for the Hunger Games to begin?
LibertyCon It seems like LibertyCon weekend is gone in the blink of an eye. Granted, this go around was a bit more relaxed than I’m use to, it was still damn good. I just had a hard time figuring out what to do with myself. So what did I do? I wandered, talked to folks,…

LibertyCon is almost here!
This year being our down year for conventions, I limited the events we were attending to those local to Chattanooga unless we were invited as guests to the Con. That being said, the only events left on our calendar this year is LibertyCon ( https://www.libertycon.org/ )next week, and the Pacific Northwest Writers Conference in September. For…

Happy Memorial Day!
We hope everyone enjoys the day to its absolute fullest. Never forget the sacrifice of those who gave all in service to this great nation, and never forget to tell your family about it! Other than one surviving in-law, everyone in my family who has served has passed on already, some in battle or complications…

‘Merican Memorial Day!
We’ve circled back around to another Memorial day weekend, sure to be packed full of BBQ’s, beers, and family gatherings. So just to cover things before the weekend is here and I forget. I won’t won’t get into the real reason for the holiday, cause you’ll probably see it a thousand times from other sites…

Sunshine and good skies before FACING THE STORM
We’ve been blessed with some beautiful weather recently here in the Chattanooga region, perfect for putting miles on the bike and taking the Word Witch out for a scoot. We joined a memorial group ride over the weekend up around the Ocoee, in memory of a couple who went down and passed away at this…
