Ever have a “quick fix” take all day?

Yeah, well, that was me today. My wife’s wireless mouse has developed the oh-so-common double-click problem that plagues Logitechs and other mice (Mouses? Mousei? Whatever), so I looked up how to repair it and found a couple of videos showing how to clean the switch contacts to keep that from happening for awhile. Seemed simple enough, so let’s crack that bad boy open and get to it!

Dear Lord, it was anything but simple, at least for me. Took a trip to the hardware store to get the precision tools I needed, and then it was wrestling with the thin piece of metal and the contacts that comprise the switch. So… Yeah, between that and helping out with our daughter, it took all day, but it seems to be working just fine now. Time will tell!

And that explains why I’m so late with this post. I hope everyone else’s Sunday was a bit more relaxing than mine! Anyway, on to the company news:

Are you feeling guilty about this new release?

Dropping this week is Chris Durston’s Chronicles From the World of Guilt. The age of humanity is over. The age of Guilt begins August 26th!

Misfits of Magic are on the way!

Our next anthology–Misfits of Magic–is on the way and is scheduled to be released the week after DragonCon. We’re finishing up final edits on the stories, and they are all fantastic. If you’re into fantasy adventure and brave acts by a motley crew, you’ve come to the right place. The early reader release will be going out to the Raven Readers this weekend.

With an opening essay from Piers Anthony and stories by

Megan Higgins – Jennifer Brinn – Benjamin Tyler Smith – William Joseph Roberts – Jon Michael Kelley – N.V. Haskell – Wayland Smith – Kristina Barnes – Michael Morton – Michael K. Falciani

A new author has arrived!

Last, but certainly not least, Three Ravens is proud to announce a new author has entered the aviary. L.N. Hunter is the writer of the comic fantasy novel The Feather and the Lamp, and we are delighted to bring it to you sometime in the coming months. We won’t spoil too much here, but it involves an adventurous girl who wants to explore the world and lucks out when she finds a genie in a lamp. But is it good luck or bad luck that’s led her to this point? You’ll have to wait and see!

Coming soon to audio!

We have two titles recently approved for distribution that are processing through ACX, so keep an eye on for upcoming posts.

Darkness in a Sky of Embers

First is a young girls struggle in the harsh world of the Helgrammaw.

There could be no doubt of the terrifying presence of the Helgrammaw…

She had seen them when the Ashfall came. The day of humanity’s upheaval. The day when the creatures arrived and her morbid curiosity drove her to see them again with her own eyes, and kill them.

“Mad” Madeline Yazzie, a young Ordnance Corps soldier on the front lines of humanity’s fight against the Helgrammaw, an unknown species overtaking the Earth, discovers the price of war and the nature of her enemy.

Staff of Chaos

Are you ready for the magical chaos of J.F. Posthumus in her lastest novel of the Lady of Death series?

When Raziel, the Angel of Mysteries, shows up at Catherine’s door, she knows nothing good will come from letting him in. She’s proven correct when she’s tricked into summoning the spirit of a deceased demon to help clear an innocent’s name.

Not only was Kevin Daniels a demon, but he was a keeper of the Staff of Chaos. A powerful artifact capable of destroying anything and anyone. Including the ever-thinning Veils. And it’s been stolen.
