What Do Your Yearly Goals Look Like?

We’re almost three-quarters of the way through the year, and I’m behind on my writing goals. Way behind, if I’m being completely honest. Life, work, and even more life have all conspired to get in the way, but those are just excuses! I spent a bit of time earlier this week coming up with a realistic daily word count and then used that to schedule out all the books and stories I want or need to get finished. If I follow this word count every single day, I won’t finish the last of those books until late 2025.

How’s that for a wake-up call?

Where are you at on your goals for the year? Whether it’s writing or work or a hobby, if you’ve managed to stay on track this entire time, excellent! You’re a source of inspiration to me, and you’re where I hope to be this time next year. However, if you’re like me and have backslid or fallen flat on your face, there’s still time to get back on track! Let’s get up, dust ourselves off, and push on to the finish line.

And speaking of finish lines…

Not only was Kevin Daniels a demon, but he was a keeper of the Staff of Chaos, a powerful artifact capable of destroying anything and anyone, including the ever-thinning Veils. And it’s been stolen.

Can Catherine locate the Staff of Chaos before it’s used? Find out today!

The battle against a strange alien foe begins!

The Guilt must flow!

And lastly, here is a quick reminder that Chris Durston’s Chronicles From the World of Guilt is out on Amazon. If you’re in for a wild and strange tale of Earth’s destruction and what comes after it, this is for you:

What is Guilt?

Is it an enormous flying whale? Maybe an alien, come from deep space to punish us? Some call it an angel or a god, others a demon.

What nobody can deny is that it is the end.

These tales chronicle the story of the Earth in the centuries after the apocalypse: struggles for survival against twisted, horrific foes; small moments of kindness and warmth in the dark; life going on, even as the whole world changes.

These are the Chronicles from the World of Guilt.
