Costumes x 2, Trailer Parks x 6!

Now that the girls are getting older (5 and 2, respectively), holidays are beginning to play more of a factor than they did in past years. For the last little while, the only two holidays that really mattered in our household were Christmas and Easter, and more for the religious aspects than the secular or “festive” aspects. Thanksgiving was always fun, too, but mostly for the food. With kids, though… Well, that changes everything.

We’ve had to shelve our traditional viewing of the anime film Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust each Halloween night in favor of games and costumes with the girls. And between me and you (and you, and you, and you, and you!) I’m having more fun now than before they came along. This year is the first year we’re deliberately dressing them as a pair. They’re both into Frozen, and Elsa is their collective favorite. So… Yeah, they’re both going as Elsa rather than Elsa “and Anna together. To salve the oldest’s wounded pride at not picking Elsa first, we’re doing two versions of Elsa. One is post-“Let it Go”ย Elsa. The other is pre-coronation Elsa. And I found costumes that closely match both.

The costumes arrive tomorrow. Here’s hoping they’re both satisfied! If not… Well, we’ll just have to see, won’t we?

But enough talk about costumes and the like! There’s Halloween reading to be done, and I know just the location for those stories to take place…

It Came from the Trailer Park Volume 6 – Releases 10/31/2026!

GALACTIC EXILE SERVICES

Got criminals? Monsters? Political dissidents? Unstoppable killing machines?

Drop them on Earth.
Located far beyond the major trade routes, this remote backwater world offers everything an interstellar government could want: no advanced technology, no space travel, no way off the planet, and a native population that is soft, squishy, harmless, and surprisingly tasty.

Best of all, once they’re here, your problems become somebody else’s.
Packed with creature-feature horror, cryptid chaos, alien mayhem, and redneck heroes armed with chainsaws, duct tape, and questionable judgment, It Came From the Trailer Park Volume 6 proves that exile to Earth was never the punishment.

The trailer park was.
